Chesterfield girls play under the Derbyshire Dragons hybrid team alongside teammates from other North Derbyshire clubs. This weekend we learnt that ten of our girls have been placed on the player development programmes run by the NLD. A fantastic achievement and well deserved given all the hard work and commitment given by players and the combined coaching team.
Seven girls from the squad have made selection for the NLD U16 Girls Foundation Programme. Three of which are from Chesterfield Panthers RUFC, two from Matlock RUFC, two from Ashbourne RUFC and one from Bakewell RUFC. Three girls from Chesterfield Panthers RUFC made selection onto the NLD U18 Girls Extended Representative Development Programme.
